India came back in the 3rd test against New Zealand, after the first session of this morning. The Kiwi openers Tom Latham and Martin Guptil started the day very well, after score of the second day 28/0. The Kiwi openers put 118 runs over the score board. But till the end of the second session, the situation was completely changed. Half of the Kiwi team have returned back to the pavilion at 148. James Neesham entered came to the crease, who was replaced for Neil Wagner, he fought with Indian bowlers and shared more than fifty runs with BJ Watling and M. Santner.
A couple of catches were missed by Indian fielders. But at last New Zealand were bowled out at 299. The day was ended like a nightmare but New Zealand started it like a dream. Batting of New Zealand batsmen’s was not too impressive. It seemed like they donated their wickets to the Indian bowlers. Everything is done by brilliant spells of Ravichanran Ashwin. He entered to his 20th five-wicket haul in tests. He hunted 6 Kiwi batsmen for just 81 runs. India skipper Virat Kohli took a surprising decision by not offering follow on to Kiwi Team and the day was ended for 18 without any loss of wicket. India is looking for grand total which won’t be easy to chase by the team of Williamson. India would like to declare in early session of the fourth day. As everybody knows the series has gone, but Kiwi team can play to save the game to skip the clean sweep.
Another warning on third day of the match
Murli Vijay runs between the wickets and umpire warned him. At the end of the 2nd day, Jadeja did same and India faced a penalty of five runs. Is Vijay next?
Wonderful Spells of R Ashwin
Ashwin was not looking too impressive before the drink. But after the drink time, he created a lot of confusions for Kiwi batsmen. James Neesham was found infront of the wicket, when he was looking dangerous. But replays showed that the ball was missing to the off stumps. James Neesham must be considering himself pretty unlucky after watching the replays.
Injury of Gambhir
Gambhir had injured himself by a dive. As result, Gambhir is out of the field. India will bat again and we are going to see new opening partners.
Big Wicket of the day
Ashwin bowled to Kane Williamson. Bat of the Kiwi skipper got an inside edge and the ball hit the stumps. The skipper and hope of the Kiwi team gone for 8.
Unfortunate Run Out for New Zealand
R Ashwin bowled to Matt Henry on off stumps and he hit the ball for caught and ball. But the bowler missed it. But we can call it misfortune of Kiwi team that missed caught and bowled turned into a run out.
